Henry Shaftoe – CV

Henry has an MA in Urban Design and an MSc Applied Social Studies. He was a part-time senior lecturer in the architecture and planning department at the University of the West of England. He has given advice about improving public spaces: in the major development to the north of Kings Cross railway station in London, at Greenford in the London Borough of Ealing and the new Cabot Circus development in Bristol. He was the founding Director of the Bearpit Improvement Group in Bristol, U.K and a Director of “Streets Alive”. He has also worked on a number of continental European public space projects in Spain, Portugal, Belgium and the Czech Republic.
